Michael B. Mathews, Ph.D.
President, CEO, and Founder

Michael B. Mathews leads the corporate vision, strategy, and technology development for Loctronix. Previously he was the founder and principal of Engenex Technologies founded in 2001.  Mathews has over 18 years of experience in both the aerospace and software industries and provides extensive expertise in systems engineering and technology management.  Between 1999 and 2001, Mathews was the CTO and Chief Architect for InfoMove, Inc., a telematics company providing infrastructure and application components to telematics service providers. Mathews led the development of the first applications and services to bring real-time Internet, off-board navigation, and automated roadside services capabilities to the vehicle. 

Mathews co-founded the Colorado-based CyberLocator, Inc., which was successful in developing the first ultra low-cost GPS location technology for use in radiosonde balloon measurement systems.  CyberLocator was also the first company to develop and patent location-based authentication and verification.  He received his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering Sciences from the University of Colorado.

Thomas C. Davis
CFO and COO

Thomas C. Davis oversees corporate finance, administration, and development with over 25 years of professional experience in executive management and finance.  A veteran in the wireless telecommunications industry, he has served as CFO and Vice President in both public and private companies.  Previously, Davis was the principal for Davis Consulting, which provided financial consulting services including audit, mergers and acquisitions, operations and strategic planning.  He was the CFO and Vice President for Incepta Enterprises an investment advisory firm that managed venture capital funds sponsored by Bechtel and GE Capital.  Davis also served as VP of Finance for Advance Radio Telecom, a publicly traded, high-speed data wireless communications company; Director, Business Development for AccessLine Technologies; Director, Business Operations and Assistant Controller for US West NewVector Group; and Senior Accountant at McCaw Communications.

Lew Larson
VP Business Development

Lew Larson is a successful business development executive with superior track record of developing profit-generating partner relationships, and launching new products and technologies. He has extensive experience in building strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 corporations, OEMs and major silicon vendors. With more than 25 years of high technology industry experience he has held executive positions in both public and private companies. Prior to Loctronix, he was Executive Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for Consysant, a provider of software tools for network processors, VP of Marketing for BSquare, a solution and service provide for smart embedded devices, Director of Business Development and Marketing for Ioptics, a developer of embedded optical storage technology and Director Major Accounts and Strategic Alliances for Seattle Silicon, a silicon design tool and service provider.

Larson has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University

Peter F. MacDoran
Chief Scientist

Peter MacDoran serves as Chief Scientist supporting Loctronix’ research and development efforts.  Previously, MacDoran served at the Chief Scientist and Principal Engineer for Engenex Technologies. With over 30 years of technology development and integration experience in GPS and communications technologies, MacDoran is the principal inventor of Codeless GPS (a precursor to Loctronix’ SCP Technology). 

Prior to this, he was a consultant to the Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA) and part-time faculty member of George Washington University at the Space and Advanced Communications Research Institute and the Homeland Security Policy Institute.  MacDoran was a Professor, Attendant Rank and Senior Research Associate at the University of Colorado where he pioneered and developed one of the first teaching laboratories for Global Positioning Technology.  He is also an entrepreneur, and was the founder of ISTAC, Inc. and a co-founder of CyberLocator, Inc. to further the development of codeless GPS and related technologies in cyber security. 

MacDoran was awarded the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Medal for Exceptional Scientific Achievement, and later also awarded the NASA Medal for Exceptional Engineering Achievement and became the first person in NASA history to have been the recipient of medals for both science and engineering.
